William J. White

Author, William J. White was born in Clinton, Iowa in 1953 and spent most of his adolescence growing up in nearby Maquoketa, where he was thrusted into the drug-culture of the ’70’s. After miraculously surviving issues brought on by his encounter with drugs, William moved to California in 1976 to get to know his Dad, who was divorced from his Mother in 1959. In California, William got a job working in a Plastics factory, where he met his wife in 1979. They were married in 1981. In 1983, William’s wife gave birth to twin sons. Joe spent lots of quality time with his twin sons, having coached their Little League Baseball Teams from their 12-year-old division through the 16-year-old division in the Whittier and Murphy Ranch youth baseball programs. Coaching allowed William much experience with children. William tried his best to set good example and influence the kids in a positive manner as well as teach them how to play a good game of baseball. As his twin sons entered High School, William became their Assistant Wrestling Coach at La Serna High School in Whittier. After 4 productive years coaching Wrestling, Joe retired to pen his manuscript, The Voyage of A Wiseman, which tells a story that allows him the capacity to offer much wisdom with which to make society a better place for all.
