Mariah Leal is a dedicated author who weaves her educational books about cutting down on dog bites with kids into delightful story form told through the eyes of her dogs.
Although disabled now Mariah worked as a Veterinary Technician, had her own grooming & training business throughout the years she worked. She grew up with dogs & had the opportunity to watch & be part of the Veterinary field from a young age as a relative of hers was a Vet.
During her working years & after becoming disabled Mariah has always taken CE (continuing education) courses to keep up with everything current in the animal field. She trained & showed her own dogs in conformation & obedience in her leisure time.
She always had her eye on the issue of dog bites involving children which has increased tremendously since she started in the field. After becoming disabled Mariah wanted to still contribute in the animal field. She found that niche in writing books for kids & doing presentations & began her Mission of educating kids & their families to cut down on the # of dog bites involving kids.
Her books have attracted not only kids but teens as well as adults. Mariah is determined to bring her Books & Presentations not only to the NY Tri-state area but across the United States as well.
