Loretta Gorrell

Loretta grew up in a small valley in Sunset Hills Missouri where she was born. Being the youngest of six children she grew up in a loving home and was surround by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and close friends who lived close by. She was a shy child and started first grade when she was five years old. Never being able to keep up with her classmates she was demoted back to second grade. Of course in those days you were labeled stupid by the other students. Always believing she was dumb and ugly, school was a nightmare! It wasn’t until she opened a daycare she learned she wasn’t so dumb after all. With eight employees and over one hundred children her business was a success. After selling her daycare Loretta started writing novels of suspense, romance, and comedy.
Loretta Gorrell now lives on a farm in Redbird Missouri with her husband where, they enjoy their grandchildren, draft horses, raising Great Dane dogs, and cattle.
