I grew up in Troutdale, OR. From the time I could read, I almost always had a book in my hands. Going to the library with my family was one of my favorite pastimes. I would read in the car at night using the light from the streetlights. My neighbors remembered me sunbathing in the yard while reading. When my family would go to the Portland Beavers baseball games, I would take a book and read instead of watching the game. While still in grade school, I decided to start writing my own stories. I wrote stories and books all the way through high school. Publishing my own books became a dream of mine. I like writing about many subjects, but one of my favorites is romantic fiction. There’s something satisfying about seeing your own words in print. I take what I’m feeling and turn it into something others can relate to.
