Author Bio
Lee Sato lives in the Midwest with her partner of more than twenty years and their two beloved doodles, Truffle and Roux. Holding dual degrees in psychology and journalism, she spent over three decades in challenging—and often harrowing—fields: from gang intervention in the 1980s, to adolescent psychiatry in the 1990s, and later investigating crimes against children and human trafficking.
After retiring in 2017, Sato embraced her long-held passion for storytelling, trading case notes for fictional narratives. Her debut novel, Hornet’s Nest, marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her life, with a second book nearing being launched and a third already underway. Drawing on a career rich in human experience, she writes with both grit and heart, crafting stories that linger long after the final page.
