Fonda E. Woodard is the author of Never Said A Word: The Cost of Silence and The Power of Truth, a powerful memoir that chronicles her journey of survival, healing, and self-discovery. Raised during the desegregation era in Newport News, Virginia, Fonda endured childhood experiences marked by abandonment, family trauma, colorism, and abuse. After decades of carrying these painful experiences in silence, she found the courage to share her story in hopes of inspiring others to confront their past, embrace their truth, and begin their own healing journey.
