Elisabeth Watter

Elisabeth Watter grew up in the Missouri Ozarks. At 16 she came to live with her father in Illinois. After graduating from Freeport High School, she married her high school sweetheart. They raised three sons. The youngest, Nik, was born with a heart defect. His heart was repaired when he was eight months old. After surgery, his lungs collapsed causing brain damage. After helping him get thru school, become an Eagle Scout and go to college to become an artist, she decided to help other families. After finishing two years with a Writing Academy in New England, she started writing. Inspirational books seemed to be her favorite. After being a Boy Scout Leader, working with Special Needs Scouts for 25 years, she decided that, that was who she would write for. Life can be very challenging. We have to overcome.
