Dr. Joyce Addo-Atuah

Joyce Addo-Atuah, PhD, is a multiple award-winning author, educator, speaker, pharmacist, and Founder & CEO of Crafters Global Communications LLC, a gratitude-inspired social enterprise dedicated to advancing education, healthcare, leadership development, and positive social impact.
Known as the Global Gratitude Ambassador, Joyce is passionate about helping individuals, organizations, and communities harness the transformative power of gratitude to enhance well-being, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and improve productivity and quality of life.
A pioneer in clinical pharmacy education and practice in Ghana and Anglophone West Africa, Joyce has served in distinguished leadership roles, including National Pharmaceutical Advisor with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ghana, a member of the Ghana Health Service Council, and a full-time college professor from 2008 to 2025. She is also an ordained Deaconess of the Church of Pentecost and served on the Board of the Pentecost Biblical Seminary in New Jersey, USA, from 2017 to 2023.
While researching gratitude for her first book, Joyce made a life-changing discovery. Family and friends had long remarked on her evergreen youthful appearance, positive outlook, and boundless energy. Through her research, she realized she was living proof of many of the benefits that scientific studies associate with gratitude, including resilience, optimism, well-being, productivity, and generosity. That realization ignited a deeper mission to share the science, scripture, and lived experience of gratitude with others.
Today, Joyce speaks and writes about gratitude, leadership, organizational culture, and personal gratitude transformation, among others. She is the creator of the ELEVATE™ Framework for organizational gratitude culture transformation and the ARGG™ Framework for whole-person gratitude transformation.
Above all, Joyce is profoundly grateful to God, her family, and the many individuals who have served as channels of blessing throughout her life’s journey.
