August F. Spoerri

August Spoerri was born in 1936 in Switzerland, the fourteenth child in a large, loving family. After losing his father at the age of two, he was raised by his devoted mother, whose strength and care shaped his early values. August completed his schooling and began training as a blacksmith, but an injury during military service led him down a different path.
He worked a variety of jobs before earning his credentials as an accountant, eventually rising to head accountant at a major company. After moving to the United States, August founded a moving business where he mentored many young people. These experiences gave him deep insight into the importance of raising children with love, discipline, and respect from the very beginning.
Though he calls himself a simple man, August brings a lifetime of wisdom to this heartfelt book on child raising. His practical guidance is rooted in experience, not theory-and it’s meant to help families grow stronger, generation after generation.
