Barbara Rawlins-Green

Although old and legally blind, Barbara Rawlins-Green loves to read and write. Her first novel, Loving Jhanna, was released in 2020, supported by her family and close friends. The story was fiction, but Barbara made sure that the main character had her own reactions to the action. Akeema’s Secret follows a woman who TWO full-time careers and a love for children. Since Barb is basically lazy and has only one son, she got a kick out of creating a character so unlike herself. One of her dearest friends since 1977, Vicki Baker, did all the typing for this book since the author doesn’t have a computer or cell phone. Currently, Ms. Rawlins-Green is putting the finishing touches on her third book, The Road to Maeve. Enjoy!
