What strategies have worked best for you?

  1. Having someone edit my book and give me feedback on the parts they feel are good and give me suggestions on what they feel I could improve on before I look for a publisher.

  2. Marketing…still working on it. I have set up a website, an LLC, advertising with Amazon, magazine ads, an interview recorded online, an author interview, sending out postcards to bookstores, book posters where my books are sold, booksignings. There is always more to do to keep your book in the public eye.

  3. Marketing is nearly as difficult as self-publishing your book. It’s a learning process and it’s my goal to learn all I can because I know I’ve written a helpful, marketable book.
