STORY SYNOPSIS

David Michael Lacer, born in January of 1949, in Junction City, Kansas, lettered in wrestling in high school and played in a rock and roll band through his early years at college. He was drafted into the Army during Vietnam and served in Europe before returning home to Kansas. David went to work for the State of Kansas, the department of epidemiology, working with those diagnosed with venereal disease, and later transferred into a regulatory branch, inspecting hospitals and nursing homes for state licensure and Title XIX compliance for federal grants. After completing his BA in Social Work from Kansas State University, David went on to finish his master’s degree from Wichita State University in guidance and counseling. However, his heart was set on ministry and had been since childhood. David Lacer grew up in a fundamental church and became a Charismatic in the early  70’s. He went from the drug culture to the pulpit.
