Hollywood Dick: The Seedy Adventures of Detective Privado Bandido Jesus Vazquez

STORY SYNOPSIS

Jesus Vazquez came fresh out of the war in 1946 and had two choices – he could spend the rest of his days working on the wharf in his hometown of Monterey California and die like the fish or swim south to the City of Angels. Having been a soldier for so long he couldn’t sit still like most soldiers and was restless. Before he could blink he found himself in Los Angeles putting his army boxing skills to use and wondering what else these angels of the city had in store for him. One thing people always told Jesus Vazquez was that he had a face that could be in moving pictures. And just as he was getting that face pounded in inside the ring Hollywood came calling. What Jesus Vazquez didn’t realize is… how many “parts” he would have to “play” in a town that was all make believe.
