A Bright Fourth Grader
STORY SYNOPSIS
This book is for teachers, parents, and older brothers and sisters who may have or had a sibling as a fourth grader. Of course, a fourth grader will enjoy these 112 delightful stories and 24 illustrations, as well. It is a time when fourth graders begin to realize that there is much more to life than the little kid stuff they have been exposed to in their earlier years. In these stories, our fourth grader challenges his teacher and classmates regarding assignments and other aspects of life. Often the other children get teased with unusually wise and sometimes whimsical views that are not conventional. His classmates often respond by mocking him and or complaining to their teacher that our charmed fourth grader is being stubborn or bullheaded. The teacher often becomes involved in settling their disputes and requires an explanation. Our fourth grader’s responses can get you to laugh, think, and possibly learn a thing or two. Many of us have forgotten what it was like to be a fourth grader. This book provides a refreshing look at all of us back then.
