Jenny Zhengyu Lin, 2007 Washington DC – “Mandarin Education Award” and 2013 Mont. County Public School – “ABCD (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty) Award” winner, is a long time bilingual (English and Chinese) educator. She currently lives in Reno, Nevada. She has studied sociology in Shanghai University and Nankai University in China, London University in UK, and hold teacher’s certificates in Maryland and Nevada. This is her 1st children’s book and best for: ages 4-8.
This story tells Tikki, a young Gambel quail’s adventure of learning to fly. It happened on a hot July 4th, and the quail went to see the parade with his friends. During the road trip, Tikky learned to fly and had fun of chasing a dust-devil.
