William Brunhofer grew up in beach towns outside LA and a small town on the north bay of San Francisco. Here, his love for the sea was born. After service in Vietnam and teaching English with Peace Corps, Afghanistan, he completed graduate education in upstate New York where he worked in campus ministries and taught at a school of religion. And here he married, and his three children were born.

After retiring from a second career in Healthcare and IT management, and with children grown and in pursuit of their own dreams, Bill and his wife moved to Pennsylvania, lending a hand to a growing church community, and now make their home in Northeast Texas among their family. Writing poetry for family and friends, and for the pure joy of it, dot the landscape of his life. Poems included here date back to the 1970’s when the muse first struck. And they continue to inspire his creativity and spiritual life.
