Stacie Bartolotto, author of ”Blood in the Sand” and mother of 2 kids, lives in Southern California with her family, border collie Dottie, and cat Ms. Miles. She hopes that readers will enjoy this book as much as she did because it has been a wonderful journey for her. She began writing this book when she visited Joshua Tree National Park in 2012, and she is now an author. The story takes place in a National Park, which is how this book came to be. She enjoys spending her time reading books and driving long distances to the desert. If you ever go to California, get on Route 66 because it’s a nice drive but bring plenty of water to drink.

On the night that Misty and her friends had gone out, they wanted to have fun and leave their troubles at home. So, they go to Joshua Tree National Park to loosen up and hang out with one another, but there was someone waiting in the shadows for them. They got murdered but one ran away from the scene. Now she wants her revenge against the guy who killed her younger sister and her friends.
