Lisa Gordier
Lisa Gordier is 51 years old, born in Oklahoma City OK to a Christian family whose father,
uncles and grandfathers proudly served in the Navy. She is a Disabled Air Force Veteran of 11
years currently living in Colorado. She has one brother who also served in the Air Force and is
fighting colon cancer. Her mother is a proud and stabilizing woman fighting dementia and
breast cancer. She found enjoyment in reading books when she was young from her father who
steered her towards books by Piers Anthony and Robert Aspirin. From there she found she not
only enjoyed reading but writing her own stories and poetry. She also has an Associates in
Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Business Management. She has been married and divorced
twice with no children.

A collection of poetry which shines a light upon the dark times in our lives. We all have those
feelings of extreme grief, pain and loss. Horrors we often bury so deep because we don’t want
others, especially our loved ones, to see them. So I’ve taken my own grief and sorrows and
placed them out in the light to share with the world so you can know you’re not alone.
