Leticia Cervantes-Lopez

Leticia Cervantes was born in Guadalajara Mexico in 1957.  Her family immigrated to Los Angeles when she was 7 years old.  She attended school in Boyle Heights and graduated from CSULA with a history and English degree and began to teach in high schools.  She taught for over 40 years and she is now retired.  Leticia has been writing all her life, writing and producing plays for the community.  She is also a Foklorico director and Poet.
