“Nalani and the Coast Care Crew” is an inspiring story about kids who care about their community and the environment. Nalani, is a 12-year-old girl who loves spending time at the beach. She’s sad because her favorite spot is covered in trash! She learns that plastic pollution is a big problem for ocean animals and the whole planet. Instead of just wishing things were different, she decides to take action!

Nalani knows she can’t do it alone, so she teams up with her friends Mateo and Aya. Together, they form the “Coast Care Crew,” a group dedicated to cleaning up the beach and making it healthy again. They even come up with a cool name for their mission on social media – #CoastCare!
