Other than blocks of words, the book makes use of the cover image and parts of it repeatedly across pages and few words per page to guide the reader through relaxation breathing. By the way I see it, this book is meant to be read every day, as relaxation breathing should always be practice every day. Our emotions are one wild beast, and we run amok when our emotions get the best of us. Just imagine the terrible damage we can cause should our emotions run out of control. The book invites us to look deeply into the emotions and anxieties we struggle with every day. This book gives us the power to control the beast within us through guided image relaxation breathing. Yates is to be applauded for publishing such a book that enables readers to handle their emotions without too much verbiage or excess information. Just straightforward and direct approach. Guided mediation should not be that hard. Just a few breaths and one will be able to breeze through the whole book in just one sitting. As we become more conscious of our emotions, the more determined we become to control our emotions and address their severities. The reader will be empowered to accept the reality of life’s concerns and anxieties but no longer bothered by them or enslaved to them.
